In our continuous effort of indigenization, we have developed an Oxygen Booster System, Model BS MK 10 001, which is permanently installed at an Oxygen charging bay for filling Submarine Escape Suit’s breathing gas bottles. This system was designed to replace the obsolete Russian systems.

We have introduced pneumatically operated boosters which comply with all International Safety Standards. It is user friendly without compromising on safety. Since all gases have their own characteristics in terms of temperature rise in pressurizing operations of the gas, the system is a highly specialized piece of equipment.

The inlet pressure of the Oxygen can be as low as 25 BAR which can be boosted up to 400 BAR. However, Oxygen is never subjected to pressure above 350 BAR for safety reasons. Plant and personnel hygiene are of utmost importance. These Gas – Booster Units are designed in such a way which will maintain efficient operating safety and working accuracy for many years.
